GreenLight Women is a source of community, support and encouragement for hundreds of highly successful, diverse professional women facing the career challenges with getting older.

Our purpose is to fight ageism, promote diversity and help each other achieve our individual goals. By providing our members with access to the tools, the training and the experts in a wide range of fields, we can share our knowledge and experience with the next generation and change attitudes about aging in our industry.

GreenLight Women is a forum for advocacy, change and self-discovery, and defining the future on our terms.

Kimberly Ogletree

Kimberly Ogletree is an award-winning producer, with an extensive background in film and television production. With Producer/ UPM credits of 25 films and multiple television series, her work can be seen on Viacom, BET, MTV, Universal, TV One, Bounce TV, All Black and more. As Supervising Producer for Special Projects and Development at BET, she oversaw ten original TV movies and served as music supervisor on nine of those films. As a content supplier, Ogletree operated her own production company, Karat Entertainment at Sunset Gower Studios for ten years where she developed and produced content for global entertainment and media outlets. She has also produced over 200 music videos for Sony, Warner and Universal Music.

Ogletree has served as SVP Physical Production for URBANFLIX TV. Karat Entertainment recent productions for BET include, the eight-episode series, “Haus of Vicious," “Hollywood Husbands: Reunion,'' which was produced by Jesse Collins Entertainment and Kevin Hart's Hartbeat Productions both for BET, and four diverse independent films, "A Royal Christmas Surprise," "Honor Student," " Finding Love in Sisters and "Plus One At An Amish Wedding.

Ogletree is a member of the DGA, PGA, Women in Film and currently serves on the board of GreenLight Women where she is also a founding member. She is a Senior Producing Instructor at the New York Film Academy in Burbank, CA, an alum of Howard University and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. (ΑΚΑ) the first intercollegiate historically African American sorority.

Lucy Webb

Producer, writer, actress and comedienne Lucy Webb has been a supporter of women and independent filmmakers for over 30 years. A native of Tennessee, Webb’s career has encompassed feature films, television and the New York stage. Her production company, Calm Down Productions, Inc., was founded in 1991 and has produced projects for HBO, Warner Bros. Television, CBS, FX, and NBC.

Webb started her career as an actress and stand-up comedienne and appeared in numerous comedy television shows most notably HBO’s Not Necessarily The News. Webb went on to win 5 Cable Ace Awards for Best Actress in a Comedy Series, before redirecting her career into production and development, and shingled her prod at Warner Bros. Television.

In 1997, Webb joined the non-profit Women In Film where she served on the Executive Board and became Vice President of Special Events. Webb produced numerous events including five Crystal + Lucy Award shows. The event honored world-class women in entertainment including Kathleen Kennedy, Sandra Bullock, Shonda Rhimes, Uta Briesewitz and Lauren Shuler Donner. As co-chair of the Independent Film Series, Webb curated a wide range of films including, two Oscar nominated films, Last Day of Freedom, and Facing Fear which won Academy Award® nominations for Best Documentary Short.

Women In Film In Park City, one of the Sundance Film Festival’s most popular events, was originated by Webb and she produced the event for 10 years. In 2007, WIF became an official Associate of the Sundance Film Festival, largely attributed to Webb’s commitment and passion. Webb supported female directed films AWOL, L Train, and Volta with film grants.

An avid supporter of documentary filmmaking Webb moderates many industry discussions for filmmakers throughout the year. She currently sits on the 2017 Board of Directors for Women In Film and holds the position of Vice President of GreenLight Women.

Romell Foster-Owens

Romell Foster-Owens is an award winning Filmmaker, Producer, Director, and Writer of television series, commercials, short films, and independent feature films. Foster-Owens is a graduate of the prestigious American Film Institute Conservatory, the Producers Guild of America’s Power of Diversity Master Workshop and Robert De Niro’s Tribeca All Access Program.

A more than 20-year veteran of TV and Film, Ms. Foster-Owens has produced over 100 hours of television and over 30 films. She directed the feature films, SPUD WEBB: REACH FOR THE SKIES and THE THREE MUSCATELS starring Richard Pryor, both distributed by SONY.

Ms. Foster-Owens’ numerous awards include an EMMY Award, NAACP Image Award, and the Black Filmmaker’s Hall of Fame Award, the Platinum Aurora Award, numerous Telly Awards and Addy Awards and the Women In Film Spotlight Award.

Ms. Foster-Owens produced the Lyndon Barrois 1920’s film, THE LIFT winner of Best Film and Best Director at the Madrid International Film Festival and MY MOM AND THE GIRL, Valerie Harper’s last film, and winner of the Best Picture and Jury Award at the Connect Film Festival. Both films were Academy Award Qualifiers.

In 2019 Foster-Owens Produced the feature film, FIRST LOVE starring Annie Heise distributed by Amazon and she Produced and Directed HOME SWEET HOME,
currently winning awards on the festival circuit.

Currently, Foster-Owens is developing a film slate of for Jowharah Films, including the feature films COLORED WAITING ROOM starring Vivica A. Fox, based on the book by Patricia Pope, and THE JUNGLE WARRIORS; a true story about an African American, Army Squad Leader who faces a moral crisis when confronted with the horrors of war and the duality of man during the Vietnam War, based on the book of the same name by Sgt. Bobby Briscoe a Vietnam War Veteran.

Ms. Foster-Owens is a Board Member of the Gang Alternatives Program, a member of GreenLight Women, Women In Film, Women iN Media, Alliance of Women Directors, AFI Alumni, The Chief Content Officer of the Holiday Channel and President of Jowharah Films.

Gladys Stennis-Mixon

Gladys Stennis brings a strong command of strategic considerations and financial acumens within the rapidly evolving media, entertainment, licensing, and consumer products industry worldwide. As a professional accountant, she is experienced with internal controls and GAAP as practiced both domestically and internationally. She is qualified as an Audit Financial Expert, which allows her the ability to lead audit and enterprise risk management committees.

Gladys’s expertise overseeing various aspects of the financial entertainment industry at Warner Bros, Viacom, and 20th Century Fox, has allowed her to train financial teams both domestically and internationally.

Gladys has also built a very successful financial firm developing and overseeing staff on various television and independent film productions as well hiring staffing that handles and taxation for the corporations that produce, direct and distribute the various film and television products. She has also assisted the various companies in obtaining funding for productions ranging between 7.5 M to 65M. Additionally, she has overseen and coordinated Live Events for major comedic and music talent which have generated profits more than 15M.

She has raised additional funding with various investors in Silicon Valley, Wall Street and various international investors in Europe and Asia Pac Rim countries.

With her global knowledge, and the ability to raise funding she will be an asset to Greenlight Women as they grow through membership and various organizational events.
